Hello, it’s me, Jon.

I’m a fan first; whether it’s beer, content marketing or digital media. I live (and lived) in the worlds of good beer, sports, music, fashion, radio and media. Connecting brands & audience has been a reoccurring thread in my career. I dream up full scale integrated marketing campaigns for brands. Collaboration, community, and content is what keeps me up at night.

I’m currently in the beer business. We at Beerlicious Inc. love beer so much that we put on amazing beer festival experiences solely to discover new brews and hang out with good people. Recently, I was the Integrated Marketing Director at Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment (the largest sports ownership group in Canada) where I delivered top-notch, shareable (revenue generating) content and enhanced the relationship between fans & the brands of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Marlies and Toronto FC.  Some may remember me as the Marketing Director for radio station 102.1 the Edge in Toronto. During my tenure the station received the highest ratings ever in its 27-year history. I was also lucky enough to be the three-time recipient of the Gold Ribbon from the Canadian Association of Broadcasters for radio marketing – the highest achievement in the biz. I was also part of the original team that launched radio station FLOW 93.5, Canada’s first urban radio station.

Let’s be honest, BIOs are a strange thing because they always come off as a little too ‘braggy’, especially when you consider that people usually write their own…. Like I did with this one.
